A Week with my Niece

My oh my, how time flies.  I had to take a week and a half off.  My niece Makenzie, or Mak, was here.  She's two.  That should explain a lot!  I have some great stories about when she was here though!

Although she is not "health conscious," she does enjoy her "pe-ah pe-ah samich!"  aka a peanut butter sandwich.

We also played a LOT of Candy Land.  I mean a LOT!  Like maybe 70 billion times!!

The Friday before she came, Matt came over and we had a picnic and a 10 mile bike ride in a nearby State park.  It was very fun.  Here's the spread:
Salad Sandwiches (mine turned more into just a plain old sandwich as I put on a lot of meat!)
Cold Teriyaki Ramen
Apple/ Orange
Grapes
Sun Chips

There was not many actual work outs and super healthy foods this past week, but I just wanted to get back in the habit of posting!  I've missed you so much!

Last night I saw The Biggest Loser Finale at Katy's house.  I was okay with Jeremy winning, but was very sad that Kim didn't.  She was my favorite, and as Katy pointed out, she would be a great spokesperson for The Biggest Loser.
After the finale was over, The Voice was so we watched that.  Then at 9:00 we decided we should work out.  We went for a walk around town and used Katy's iPhone for music.  She had some pretty great kid's songs on there that we rocked out to.  Some of which were called "Stop, Rock and Roll" and "The Funky Chicken Dance."  That was our favorite and we went crazy dancing down the streets to this very strange music!! Definitely a walk I won't forget!  We arrived at her house and had only walked for 41 minutes so we walked around the block once more so we could get in the full 45.  I was exhausted when I got home and fell asleep as my head hit the pillow.

Today started bright and early with milking cows.  I took a four hour nap after I got home.  I must have needed the sleep!

I'm off to church now, hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!
