A Sad Start with a Fabulous Finish

Today was quite an adventure..  I woke up several times in the night thinking that it was time to go milk cows, well it was only 1:30 I had two more hours to sleep.  I woke up to my alarm at 3:17 and fell asleep again.. I awoke, to my dismay, at 3:48.  I think I set the record for getting out of bed, dressed, and out the door the fastest: five minutes!  I arrived at work one minute late and clocked in five minutes late.  But all is well as I have a great boss and coworker.

I came home and showered and ate breakfast.  I tried something new today!  I ate cream of wheat!  I have never had this before and I was a little hesitant.  I love Malt-O-Meal and wasn't sure what the cream of wheat business was.  I totally biffed the first batch because I didn't stop the microwave on time, so my dog will be very happy to have that in his bowl of food tomorrow.  My second batch turned out very well.  I tried it plain, but I just had to have a scoop of brown sugar in it.

Does anyone have another idea of a healthier sweetener for cream of wheat of Malt-O-Meal?
I think that was what set me off for a sad day of eating.  I ate a lot of Chicken in a Biscuit crackers, and I mean a lot.  Maybe half a box?!  I know, I know!  I'm a terrible person!  But hopefully I can rectify this little problem.

After a lovely nap of about 1 or 2 hours, I got up to face the world.  For lunch I had left over lasagna and carrots.  It was very tasty!

I did some household chores and when my mom got home, I decided I needed to work off all those calories I had piled on so eagerly this morning.  At 4:30 I ran my Couch-to-5k for 20 minutes.  As I was walking the cool down, I got a text from Katy asking me if I wanted to go over and run with her.  Of course I did!  I drove over and we walk/ran.  It was so fun because now I have done it three times in three different places!  I love having a change of scenery.  I think it helps to keep me motivated.  I get to see all kinds of different landscapes and all of God's creations!

Now my legs and Gluteus Maximus are very sore..  But that means somethings happening, right?!

And just now (no 10 minutes ago) I did my daily workout plan (below)!  (See previous post for link to all sevens days)  Hopefully that burned off some of those calories!  I hope!

    1. What is so much better than a Brazilian's butt that gives it the honor of having it's own work out?
